Showcasing the expert pottery making and etching skills Mata Ortiz is known for, this incredible vase by potter Heri Mora features several intricately etched owls among tree branches. Each of the four owls is predominantly black, the etch work showing buff coloration underneath, while they are detailed with blue, grey, green, red, and pink accents. The buff base of the piece is also etched with fine lines, while the rim showcases etched geometric patterns in black. 9 1/2″ tall x 7″ wide.
