Description
The cut out of a bear paw in the shadowbox style rests at the center of this traditional Navajo belt buckle. The paw’s pad is set with one turquoise and one coral piece in sawtooth sterling silver bezels, the turquoise stone containing large portions of dark brown matrix running throughout, and the stones separated by appliqued sterling silver dots. Each claw is cut out and stamped just below with scallop designs, while the entire paw is encased by stamped scallop patterns, followed by a sterling silver rope pattern. The border of the buckle is also stamped with scallop and dot designs. 3″ long x 2 1/2″ wide. Fits belt size 1 5/8″.
