Description
Taking on an egg shape, this unique and more contemporary jar was created by Hopi potter Agnes Setalla. On one side of the brown piece, Agnes pained a bee, holding a stem with ed and black flowers and with stylized red and black wings. The opposite side of the jar features a bird design, alos painted in red and black, with complex, traditional designs along the body and tail feathers. The rim of the piece features geometric designs in black, while the base has been left unpainted. 6 1/2″ tall x 5″ wide.
