This stunning, handmade and hand painted owl storyteller by Linda Lucero Fragua of Jemez Pueblo showcases three owlets and beautiful, traditional polychrome patterns. The owl stands, its wings down at its sides and slightly curved in front, an owlet in each curve. One owlet is painted red and the other grey, both featuring black and buff weather and geometric patterns along their bodies and faces. Another owlet, painted black, rests upon one of the owl’s shoulders, painted in grey and buff geometric designs. The owl featured painted feather patterns atop its head in black, red, and buff, while the body showcases weather and geometric designs in red, grey, black, and buff. The owl’s back is stunningly painted in all colors in various traditional feather and weather patterns, in addition to stylized bird designs. 7″ tall x 4″ wide x 3 1/2″ deep.
