Description
Jemez potter Linda Lucero Fragua created this lovely, wonderful storyteller with beautiful accents and colors, indicative of traditional Jemez style. The Pueblo woman featured in the piece is seated, one child resting, swaddled, in each arm. Two ears of corn rest on her lap atop a blanket, while a shawl is draped over her shoulders. Accents are painted along her clothing and body in red,black, buff, and grey, and two buns rest atop her head. 4 3/4″ tall x 2 3/8″ wide x 3 7/8″ deep.
