Description
A wide inflection and narrow rim make for a beautifully handmade, small vase by Jemez potter Juanita Fragua. The vase features a predominantly buff backdrop, painted above the inflection with traditional feather and weather (wave/whirlwind) patterns in black and red. The entire base of the piece below the inflection is red. Juanita, now over 80 years of age, still creates pieces by hand, in the traditional Jemez style. 5 1/8″ tall x 5″ wide.
